Returns Policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, unopened, and in its original sealed packaging, and in the same condition that you received it. You will also need proof of purchase.


Your Right to Cancel (UK Customers)

Under UK consumer law, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your items, without giving any reason.

To exercise this right, you must contact us within 14 days of delivery. You then have a further 14 days to return the item to us.

Please note that due to hygiene and safety reasons, this right does not apply to products that have been opened or unsealed after delivery.

This policy does not affect your statutory rights under UK consumer law.


Opened Products

Due to health and safety reasons, we are unable to accept returns on any products that have been opened or used.

As Kōmbu products are ingestible, we cannot guarantee the safety or integrity of items once they have been opened.


How to Start a Return

If your return is accepted, we will provide instructions on how and where to send your item. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.


Damaged, Faulty, or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order upon arrival and contact us within 48 hours if your item is damaged, faulty, or incorrect.

Please include clear photos of the issue so we can assess it quickly. If approved, we will arrange a replacement or a full refund at no additional cost.


Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is faulty, damaged, or incorrect.

We recommend using a tracked shipping service, as we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.


Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get the item you want is to return the item you have (if eligible), and once the return is accepted, place a new order.


Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of the approval status.

If approved, your refund will be issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days. Please note that it may take additional time for your bank or card provider to process the refund.
